Cara Pearson from East Freetown received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Design - Graphic Design/Letterform at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth undergraduate commencement on May 27. An estimated 1573 graduates received degrees.

Roxanna Saberi, an award-winning author, journalist, and human rights advocate who was jailed by the Iranian regime in 2009, delivered the UMass Dartmouth undergraduate commencement address.
